Termokir is a company that was established and is owned by Kibbutz Horshim- Israel. It was founded in 1983 with the aim of producing and marketing thermal insulation plasters to the local market.
Upon its founding, the company acquired German knowledge concerning thermal plaster and in the nineties it became the leading company in its field.
In the following years the company developed and expanded its product line up to 40 products, specializing in plasters, adhesives, grouts and sealing products. Owing to maintain its major position in the Israeli market.
Today the company employs about 40 people, including 14 marketing, sales and service people, and its annual turnover is in 2006 was about 8.5M Euro.
Termokir's sales system is currently focused on Israel's large-scale contractor market, constituting more than 40% of the total market. It has coverage throughout the country and has a nationwide vendor's network, a customer service system, a logistics system and a laboratory that develops products, accompanies production and assists the service dept.
Focusing on the major contractors market is a part of the company's strategy.
Termokir is an important supplier of these companies and, as noted, has nationwide coverage to cater them.
